HSBC Malaysia has origins that date back to 1884 although the current form of the bank was established in 1984. Today it offers banking services to personal customers and business customers. It also has an extensive range of Islamic banking products. There are 68 branches - 26 of them are Islamic branches. The range of conventional banking products that are available includes savings accounts, current accounts, time deposits, foreign currency accounts, debit cards, credit cards, property financing, investments, insurance, and loans. Premium banking services are also available through HSBC Premier and HSBC Advance.
